For Therapists

Sexaholics Anonymous is a fellowship based on the model pioneered by Alcoholics Anonymous. SA's goal is "progressive victory over lust" which focuses on eliminating obsessive sexual thoughts. The principal that "any form of sex with one's self or with partners other than the spouse is progressively addictive and destructive" forms the basis of the definition of sobriety in the SA program. Through practicing the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions members seek a relationship with a power greater than themselves to aid them in their recovery.

The Albuquerque SA fellowship currently has many weekly meetings. All meetings are closed (they are to be attended by addicts only or those who believe they might be addicted). To obtain meeting times and locations please call the telephone line at (505) 899-0633 and a member will return your telephone call.
